Grain's TV advert for Kit Kat was released last week, it is out on the telly at the moment. The ad was made with the lovely people at JWT, it shows a mother making a sandwich for her son.

In The Studio

One of the Grain boys spent a day in the studio this week for the London leg of our Bacardi promo. Three new acts, Disco Bloodbath, Reso, and Untold were there with Legend Norman Jay recording a new take on the rumba, inspired by their recent trip to Puerto Rico.

Yesterday a few of the Grain team crossed the river leaving our South London haven, and headed to Wembley Stadium. We spent the day filming a training session for 700 kids attended by the lovely Michael Owen and football legends Sir Geoff Hurst and Sir Trevor Brooking.

Back To Nepal

Two of the Grainites are heading back to Nepal to finish off the film we've been making out there about UK based Debate Mate's debating programme for under privilieged kids across the country. Post starts the moment we get back so expect to the see film on a small screen soon.

Forced Marriage story in the Telegraph

Grain's work on a documentary about forced marriage has just been immortalised in an article for the Sunday Telegraph written by our good friend Cyrus Shahrad. The Fabulous Picture Show on Al Jazeera

Dead Hungry

Grain's short film Dead Hungry (funded by the now extinct UK Film Council) features on this week Fabulous Picture Show on Al Jazeera. Last year Al-Jazeera were there every step of the way during production, following the highs and lows of trying to produce a low budget zom-com.

Park World Tour 2010

Grain will be producing several films from the Scottish Orienteering Association's Park World Tour taking place in Perth Scotland in September.

CBA Funding

CBA

Grain's documentary on Forced Marriage has recently won funding from the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association. The film is currently being shot in various locations across the UK, with a trip to Bangladesh with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's forced marriage unit scheduled for the autumn.
