'Slaves to Football' Airs on Al Jazeera English

This coming Thursday at 19.30, Grain's investigative film 'Slaves To Football' (GMT) premieres on Al Jazeera English's (SKY channel 514 in the UK) People and Power show. Slaves To Football is an investigation into the trafficking of child footballers from West Africa to Europe. It has taken 6 months to produce and we had shoots in a variety of countries including Nigeria, Ghana, France, Belgium and Morocco. If you click here you can see a teaser for the film. We are continuing to work on a longer version of the film which will air closer to the FIFA World Cup this coming summer.
