    Three of the team are braving very cold temperatures in the Himalayas to make a special show for Al Jazeera's brand new series 'The Cure' about an ambitious medical experiment at Everest. Look out for the film screening in early June. 

  • We Ride: The Story of Snowboarding

    We are proud to present our debut feature film: "We Ride; The Story of Snowboarding". In 5 months we wrote, produced, shot and cut this 90 minute 100% archive documentary. It was a gargantuan task, but we got there in the end. The film was commissioned and funded by Burn energy drink. Watch it here for free. 

  • TLC from TRC Data Recovery

    So you've just captured amazing footage, footage that can never be re-shot. You're a wise and experienced filmmaker so you sit down at the computer to back up your CF card, plug it in, and.... nothing happens. After a frantic switching of card readers, restarting the computer and running round the office screaming you realise that's it; your card's dead.

    Or is it? Fortunately for us it wasn't. Many thanks again to TRC for recovering our priceless Congo footage!

    Last week the team dusted of their most stylish filming outfits to spend a few days at London Fashion Week with top designers and models. They followed hair guru Kenna as he crafted the hair for the David Koma, PPQ and London Collage of Fashion shows.

  • Grain film nominated for RTS Award

    We are very pleased that our film Pirate Fishing has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for Journalism. We're up against two BBC shows for the top prize which will be announced on the 20th of Feb at a glitzy award ceremony. We're keeping our fingers crossed. Have a peek here for more info.

    Over the weekend to a packed cinema of over 400 people we had the premiere of our film 'We Ride: The Story of Snowboarding'. The glitzy event was lots of fun and the film was really well received. On online version of the film premieres on the 24th February so watch this space...

  • 20th Anniversary of the Air & Style: Innsbruck, Austria

    For the past few months we've been beavering away like wild chiwawa dogs creating various online and mobile content for the 20th Anniversary of the Air & Style Competition. On 31st January team Grain will be walking down the red carpet for the world preimiere of our feature film We Ride: The Story of Snowboarding. 

  • Shooting Gallery: Day in the Life

    We have a short documentary featuring in an episode of Channel 4's Shooting Gallary. A Fish Supper will be show at midnight on 28th January and follows a day in the life with Thames fisherman Phil.
